Rising to the challenge, Mayor Michael promptly slashed spending and raised taxes. Mass transit employees immediately went on strike in retaliation. Maybe it was this action that sent him over the edge. Upon seeing a live high-speed chase on the local news, Mayor Michael commandeered a police car and began pursuit. Unfortunately, the Mayor drives cars and cities similarly. Fortunately, he hadn't cut the fire department's budget. Two fire trucks were dispatched and we have confirmed reports that the Mayor is steadily recovering in one of our local hospitals. Meanwhile, our next mayor is tasked with overcoming the $8,894 deficit the city has acquired over the course of Mayor Michael's 3 year term.
